OUR RESERVOIRS ARE RUNNING OUT OF WATER IN THE EAST WENATCHEE AREA.
August 4, 2018 Greater Wenatchee Irrigation District had a major pump fail in the East Wenatchee District.
This pump in not expected back in service for 2-3 weeks.
With the current water demand, the remaining pumps are unable to keep water in our reservoirs. If we run out of water, no one will have irrigation water until we can get the supply to pass the demand.
To avoid the District from shutting down random water service, we are asking for your help in reducing your water usage.
Please do your part by reducing.
If you have questions, you can contact our office at 884-4042
If you receive your water from the canal, this message is not meant for you.

We are asking for your help. We had a major pump go down and are unable to keep water in our reservoirs without your help. We are asking you to keep your watering to a minimum. If everyone can work together, it will avoid the District from shutting down entire neighborhoods. We are told this pump will probably take 2-3 weeks before we are back up and running. Please pass this message along, and thanks for all the help. We will update our Facebook page as well for updates.
