You must live within 20 minutes of the District bounderies. You may be responsible for meter reading and repair, checking and maintaining pumps, electric motors and Valves, You may be required to operate large equipment, back hoe, dumptruck, hoist truck or others.We operate year round. In the summer we deliver water to our customers and do repairs and meter readings as needed. We work a flex schedule so you have 3 day weekends every other weekend, there is mandatory overtime every other weekend and evenings. In the winter we work 4 -10 hour days and 3 day week ends, we observe holidays,and Offer great benefits. This job has a low turn over rate because of job quality. The work is sometimes very demanding but also very rewarding. For the self motivated worker there are lots of opportunities to learn new skills. We work on a varity of equipment in a variety of situations, There are opportunities to learn telemetry or scada systems, work on electrical controls most of our system is computer controled and we are constantly upgrading our systems. most of the time you would be working on your own.Computer oriented persons would be trained to work on our mapping and GIS system as well as scada systems. This is a very rewarding job and a chance to work with a good crew build your skills and work to retire. Wenatchee valley is a great place to live.
